As a 2026 Master Teacher honoree, Mrs. Kelly will be recognized during Master Teacher Day on Wed., April 1, 2026 at Emporia State University. The recipients will take part in several recognition activities throughout the day, including being honored during a banquet and award ceremony.

 

Since its beginning in 1954, Basehor-Linwood School District has only had one other educator recognized as a Kansas Master Teacher, Ms. Darlene Theno in 1976.
